Today, I thought it was worth exploring Ephesians 1:17-19 in terms of accountability. Specifically, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.”
For the next 30 days, I plan on taking one specific topic at a time in each area of my life and praying this scripture over myself with the Holy Spirit and asking for revelation in terms of where I lack accountability in my life.
So, in breaking this down, the topics that came to me are the following: Where am I lacking accountability in my life spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, financially, sexually (lacking purity) and not fulfilling my Book of Life Purpose.
I suggest making a list of where you can start to apply this bible verse to your own life to see where you can gain clarity and purpose from the Holy Spirit.
