In this weeks blog, I was praying about what I needed to write about to help others. What came to me was “don’t ignore the warnings.” I think about my conversations with LaRette over the past year, and I think about how those conversations have helped me walk out of sin and trauma from my past, and had I not listened, that I would have let the pain of my past ruin a great thing.
We have to humble ourselves to the Lord daily, and stand in agreement with Jesus daily. As my ministry school teacher states, “this will help reroute our lives.” These times we are living in, we have to be willing and humble to repent and turn ourselves daily into the Lord, so we can do what we are put on this earth to do for His Kingdom.
I think back over the past year, and I realize that me wanting to live in my flesh and to not walk in my Spirit could have severely impacted others if I had not listened to what the Lord was trying to teach me through others.
For this week, I encourage you to sit down and pray to the Holy Spirit on what ways you are ignoring warnings in your life? Ask for wisdom on how you can begin to change your life and avoid destruction and closing the doors that may have invited the enemy in. I encourage you to go to the book of James before praying! Thanks for reading this weeks blog on Accountability!
