This week, I have been thinking a lot about building new relationships correctly, on a spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical level. The seeds we plant in spring produce a deep and lasting friendship, as well as a fruitful marriage.
When entering into a relationship, both people have to be willing to enter into a bible foundation for a friendship and a relationship, committing themselves to Christ for a true foundation to be built. This can often be hard when physical feelings are all over the place.
To me though, accountability in building a long lasting love is rooting the relationship in Christ and a biblical foundation. Listening and truly learning about a person instead of projecting your idea about a person. The goal to me is enjoying the journey and the process together instead of controlling it.
