I have an exciting update. The second edition of Get Your Act Together: A 30 Day Accountability Journal is scheduled for release on September 30th, 2024. My publisher and I are currently going through the final edits at this time. I am very excited about this for the reader. There will be updates, with clearer and deeper definitions to help each individual to do the necessary healing work with the Holy Spirit on their accountability journey.
For this week, I would like to briefly talk about our words. Over the last month, I continue to be amazed how the Holy Spirit reveals the way the soul sustains it’s wounds from birth, to the present. I feel that overall, the church keeps individuals functioning in the soul realm, and not walking in the Spirit, and we have to do a better job as the body by setting people free vs. keeping them trapped in their psychological/soul pain. I am not attempting to be critical, but as I look at my deliverance over the past month, and take to heart what has transpired for myself, I don’t want myself or anyone else suffering like this or those I love.
As time continues on, I realize more and more how the enemy is operating, and is attempting to keep as many people in bondage as he can, and to me, it is all about keeping people from walking in their kingdom purpose as psalm 139:16 reveals. You can see all of the distractions right now.
I know LaRette and my pastor have taught me to walk in the light. I know I have a book in the works about my time in the new age, occult, and parapsychology, and a lot of things that others would deem “conspiracy,” are playing out right before my eyes, and biblically. However, as always, I am grateful to LaRette and my pastor for keeping me focused on the gospel. Truly, this is what is needed at this time. Proper sleep, nutrition, exercise, laughter, love, accountability, biblical communication and conflict resolution, owning your sins, working on your own divided heart. When we don’t do these things, we have our own ministry for Jesus and His Kingdom on Earth.
There are other’s that Jesus uses us for, and when we are not accountable or obedient, it delays this process or can throw others off their life path. I have seen it in my own life. Others were to do their part, and it slows things down or affected me greatly. I have seen myself do that for others. I do my best and that is why I am so passionate about accountability and consistency. Not in a way that beats people up or teaches perfection. I only ask that Jesus becomes your personal life coach so you are connected with God’s perfect will and doing your part. Pray for guidance and keep plugging away.
